Media TechnicianUp to £18,924 per annum(Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)Contract Type:Permanent and Full-TimeHours: 37 hours per weekWe have an excellent reputation for delivering further education and work-based programmes in a range of subjectsfrom business to sport, engineering to media, GCSEs and A Levels to degree level courses.Our experienced and passionate staff work hard to help our students achieve their personal challenges and career goals.The new Centre is well equipped with a professional TV Studio, a large bank of high-quality audio-visual equipment, 5 Mac rooms, and Esports studio.We are looking to appoint adynamic technician to join the BAM team, which has engaging and inspiring coursesat Levels 1-3 in Film & TV Production, Sports Media, and Animation & Visual Effects, as well as two Degree-level programmes.The successful applicant will provide support to the staff and studentsofthe college by assuming responsibility for themanagement and operation of the departments stock of audio-visualequipment, as well as the accompanying online booking system. BAMhold a stock of over 60 cameras & lenses, as well as a substantial stock of tripods, sound recording equipment, camera rigs, drones and much else besides, to ensure our students get the best-possible media training.The successful applicant will have a passion for the media production, and will be able to impart their knowledge and passion in our students. The role requires someone who is highly organised and efficient, andable to problem-solve very effectively. Industryexperience is beneficial but not essential, but a strong working knowledge of lens-based audio-visual equipment, and the ability to support students and staff in the operation of such equipment, is essential.Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
