Job Description

Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge and expertise, have a desire to make a difference and want to be involved in educating young peopleDo you have experience teaching A Level and GCSE MathsIf so Reed Further Education, South are looking for an experienced Maths Teacher. We are working in partnership with a great education provider in the South West who are seeking an experienced teacher to join them on a temporary basis.Position: MathsTeacherLocation: BristolSalary: £25-£32phHours: Full timeDuration: Ongoing (Term time only)The role of a Marths Teacher:

  • To teach GCSE and A level an FE setting
  • Plan, prepare, mark and deliver courses to students 16+
  • Act as a personal tutor
  • Implement new learning strategies
The successful Maths Teacher will have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Teaching qualification i.e. PTLLS or PGCE or the willingness to work towards one within an outlined period of time
  • Minimum of a level 4 qualification or Degree in related subject area
