Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Marketing Manager with a great understanding of audiences, targeting, and messaging for a market-leading Online Publisher with their HQ in central Bristol. You will join a successful and growing business with a fantastic cultureand a highly talented team to support you. This role would suit an analytically minded and commercially aware marketer who is passionate about growing audiences using an insight-driven approach, getting messaging right, and increasing engagement.What youll be doing
  • The Marketing Manager willlead the delivery of multi-channel campaigns that will ultimately grow the businesss brand awareness and audience share. Youll be working to acquire more registered users in their target audience segments and engage and activatemore of their existing audience.
  • Youll be promoting new products, services, and events that are strategic to the delivery of the 3-yearplan.
  • Products include digital and in-person events, thought-leadership reports, and industrycontent, all geared towards building and engaging audiences and delivering results (leads) forclients.
  • Working with the Marketing Director youll define the Marketing strategy for the UK business and implement go-to-market plans for audience and client acquisition and retention.
  • Youll take brand ownership, develop strategic plans based on audience insights, and test and analyse to get the best results.
  • This is also a role for somebody who is creative and can write comms and applying brand tone of voice, although the editorial team are on hand to do most of the heavy lifting.
What experience youll need to apply
  • Experience as a Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Communications Manager, or Senior Marketing Executiveideally from a publishing or subscription-based business, or from a brand with a B2B or professional audience.
  • Strong track record in audience acquisition and engagement strategies.
  • Results-driven and commercially aware, you should understand Marketing Metrics, data analysis, and how to use these statistics to understand the performance of campaigns.
  • Understanding of best practices, strategic marketing planning, and marketing techniques.
  • Experience in written content and advertising copy across multiple channels.
