Job type: Logistics Coordinator Location: AvonmouthSalary: £20,000 - £25,000 Position Type: PermanentSector: Administration/Customs/Import/ExportJob Reference: SN941608Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing and supply of roofing & building envelope materials based in Avonmouth. An already successful organisation who are growing at an impressive rate, they are now seeking an experienced Import/Export administrator to join their vibrant team.An exciting opportunity for an experienced Logistics Coordinator. You will have a minimum of 2 years Logistics experience in a similar role.The main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Experience in International Trading & Logistics. (Shipping, Cross Trades, Exports and Imports
  • Dealing with clients and customers at all levels
  • Import procedures both in the UK and the EU
  • Dealing with Shipping Lines and Forwarding agents in different modes of Transport bith Sea and Air
  • Fulfilling Export requirements with regards to Documentation (COA, COO, Health Certificates, Inspections)
  • Dealing with Product Classification
  • To be successful within the role you will:
  • Must have previous experience in shipping/ logistics, imports/exports.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Have the ability to prioritise your workload and think quickly with excellent problem-solving skills where required
  • Be computer literate with an intermediate to advances level of skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Be a methodical and lateral approach to tasks set
  • Be a dependable team player
  • Have experience using SAP would be advantageous
