Job Description

    • A hugely successful digital specialist in Bristol with a reputation for innovation and quality are looking to add a Lead QA to their 25 strong technical team. They’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic, experienced in Manual and Automation testing with plenty of experience testing across .NET and JavaScript. Does this describe you so farWhat skills youll be needing
  • Excellent understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
  • Comfortable carrying out both manual and automated UI and API testing.
  • Using automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Excellent understanding of security best practice and approaches to testing, in line with industry standards. and guidelines (e.g., NCSC, OWASP).
  • Good understanding of accessibility and SEO guidelines and best practice.
  • Good understanding of contemporary software architecture approaches.
  • Experience of testing within an Agile delivery team.
  • Performance/Load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Mobile Application Testing.
    • Nice to have but not Essential
  • Cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • CI/CD and Build pipelines.
  • Code branching & Pull requests.
    • What youll be doingWorking alongside and leading some seriously talented testers, you’ll be able to improve every element of your game on projects that are genuinely exciting. They’re constantly inventing and re-inventing so need someone who keeps a keen interest in the latest and emerging techniques. Projects will include telematic app testing and complex web testing through to eCommerce and CMS build testing. Responsibilities include; Leading projects, mentoring other members of the QA team, contributing to improving their ways of working and processes, exploring and encouraging the use of cutting-edge technology, feeding in to estimates for projects, communicating complex scenarios and outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences, solving interesting problems of all shapes and sizes.What youll get in return for your talentsIf you’re looking for variety of work then look no further, with a mixing of testing simple well-crafted solutions to complex, technical automation.
