We do this by showcasing their talents, skills, and unique experience in an inclusive environment that helps them thrive.Lead Business Analyst Duration - 6 Months Location - Bristol / Remote Summary My high-profile banking client is looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join their team based in their Bristol office on a hybrid basis (1 day a week on site) on an initial 6-month contract with chance of extensions.As a Lead Business Analyst, youll be part of the Commercial Programmes Platform, within Commercial Banking Delivery. You will work diligently to make decisions real time on customer transactions to identify ways of improving their journey whilst makingsure were compliant and meet regulatory directives.So, what would you be doing for us

• Support the Programme Leads, sometimes leading your own pieces of work and always becoming an integral part of our team
• Apply your Business Analyst technical skills and insight to support the project lifecycles from understanding the requirements through to testing, delivery and embedding of change
• Bring to life your financial services experience to help frame, create and build solutions
• As part of the programme team youll support the achievement of our objectives in a timely and structured manner.

About you:

• You have a track record of managing relationships with stakeholders of different levels
• Youre a dynamic and adaptable individual who is able to use and learn new skills and knowledge in varying circumstances
• Youre comfortable carrying out complex analytical research in order to provide advice and recommendations, often using your own judgement
• You have a well-developed communication kit bag with extensive stakeholder management experience and are skilled in managing and minimising operational risks
• As a natural facilitator and decision-maker, youll enable collaboration across a number of business units to achieve the programme objectives
• Youre a skilled negotiator, analytical thinker and problem solver who will influence positively
• You demonstrate similar values and behaviours to our Groups and encourage this in team members

What we need from you:

• Evidence of understanding and using your Business Analysis toolbag to support programmes and projects end to end
• Evidence of your ability to digest information / data from a variety of sources and translate them into BA collateral such as requirements and recommendations
• Proven understanding of business analysis and business architecture methodologies and techniques and their practical application
• Exposure to skills from multiple subject areas such as Operating Model, Process Design, Digital and Technology
• Desirable to have experience in Agile having used JIRA and Confluence
• Exposure to systems thinking, business architecture and agile change delivery
• Modelling - develop, define and document As Is and To Be process models
• Evidence of maintaining internal and external networks to source data and information to enable timely recommendations and advice
• Evidence of Engaging and influencing stakeholders, anticipating, clarifying and shaping requirements for the purpose of optimising business results
• Demonstration of your ability to work as part of a team to improve customer and colleague journeys
