The Lead Auto Techs role is to ensure the correct operation, and safe and cost efficient running of the workshop through proactive management of staff, resources and stock.The successful candidate will also oversee the day to day management of staff and the appraisal system, assigning work to engineers and authorising repairs in the workshop. Other responsibilitiesinclude: To ensure all records are completed correctly toEnterprise requirements and carrying out regular audits and quality assurance briefings to ensure uniform standards and quality of work. Control and purchase of stock for the workshop ensuring all purchases and returns paperwork is correct, up to date andforwarded correctly. Workshop Health and Safety, providing a safe working environment within the workshop, carrying out and documenting risk assessments, completing safe systems of work and ensuring compliance by all staff, visitors and contractors.Responsibilities The Key Accountabilities for this role are as follows:
