Job Description

The laboratory technician apprentice is a learning role spanning across the UK Business departments with experience of working in all areas for a period across a 24-month period, ultimately concluding within the Quality function.Working as part of a close-knit team and welcoming company, youll be supported and guided every step of the way.   • Starting salary of £7.27 ph raising to £9.08 ph after the 1st year

What its like being an apprentice laboratory technicianThe successful apprentice will work collaboratively alongside the quality control team ensuring that all products and processes meet all required internal and external standards. Be prepared to be on your feet as this role will involve a mix of factory, office,and laboratory activities.So how does the apprenticeship workDuring this time, you will study for an apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (apprenticeship standard), plus gain experience of the operational aspects of a manufacturing business. Following completion of the study programme, you will then complete anEnd Point Assessment (EPA). Youll be trained by an expert tutor from Tiro as well as an experienced mentor at Etex who together, will make sure you develop the knowledge, skills, and work habits youll need to succeed in your career.
