Job Description

Key Account ManagerWe are currently looking for a Key Account Manager to join our busy team!The Customer Account Manager will ensure that the services provided by SBS perform so in accordance with the relevant agreements and will act as a main point of contact for the designated customer.This is a highly visible and complex role, since the candidate will be managing major financial services customers, influencing customer engagement and delivery performance, and directing virtual teams so that our customer commitments are met. In addition,we expect to see significant growth from the assigned customer base.Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working - 2 days from Bristol Office)Salary: Up to £55k ((dependant on experience)Key Account Manager Duties:

  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Create action plans for key accounts
  • Provide plans to the delivery teams to align with the customers goals
  • Manage customer escalations
  • Sales experience as an Account Manager
  • Present products to customers
  • Identify and pursue existing customer opportunities
  • Regular customer forecasting
  • Contract renewals
  • Customer account reviews
  • Work within standard operating procedures for each customer
Key Account Manager Requirements:
  • Suitable candidates will have experience as a Key Account Manager/Global Account Manager
  • Experience in the Finance/Banking and/or automotive industry
  • Experience in managing a caseload of high profile clients with proven sales outcomes
  • They need to have experience in liaising with senior level people and experience in Sales as an Account Manager
  • Need to be able to commute to Bristol office twice a week so ideally living in or around Bristol
  • Candidates should possess exceptional communication skills, experience of engaging at executive level and working with retail banking customer base.
  • A demonstrable account management track record in high value application software and services in the financial markets
  • Demonstrably capable of managing complex processes and converting new opportunities
  • Experience of managing software contracts ideally within financial services customers
  • Knowledge of the retail financial services and/or the asset finance/car finance market and an understanding of the solutions that address this market.
  • Ideally candidates would have worked and supported customers through digital transformations.
