A top digital solutions provider in Bristol are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join a supportive and highly skilled team and help you grow into the DevOps world. They work with some huge names, have a great office space and youll be nurtured by theirLead DevOps Engineer and wider team. Sound goodWhat skills youll need
  • Either existing industry experience or a Computer Science degree (or similar).
  • Knowledge of programming with Python, Node.js, or similar.
  • Experience with source control systems, e.g. git.

What youll be doingBuilding and enhancing cloud infrastructure and services across the organisation, as well as working on internal tools and processes. Youll have the chance to build infrastructure as code using Terraform or writing scripts and serverless functions using Python,working closely with their Lead DevOps Engineer and Developers, learning and picking things up along the way in a supportive environment. You and the team will be working on a number of critical systems, using monitoring and profiling tools to ensure theirsmooth running and operation. Other responsibilities include following quality assurance and operational processes, communicating and focused on pre-emptive problem solving as well as escalating any issues and opportunities to the Dev Ops Lead in a timelyfashion.What youll get in returnYoull have a competitive salary of £25K-£30K, pension scheme, very generous holiday allowance and get to work with a really good bunch of people.
