Youll be reporting directly into the Development Manager and collaborating with product, sales, andcustomer teams.Your role day to dayThis is a great opportunity if youre looking to take on more of a leadership role in a team, but not ready to let go of the exciting technical challenges.Your time will be split between managing a team of 5+ software engineers, providing people management along with being hands on with the technology and support the transformation of the systems they are building modern microservices architecture for.Along with providing leadership and support to the team, youll be fully involved with the lifecycle of software development and working with an exciting and modern tech stack with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, MongoDB and more. Your day will involve leading srum ceremonies, delegating work, supporting your team with pair programming to solve problems, contributiing to the design and planning, working closely with product managers and much more! • Empathetic and supportive leadership style
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing engineers skills
• Experienced with leading smaller sized teams
• Passionate about developing software engineers careers
• Highly skilled with Agile/Scrum Methodologies
• Expertise with Java and Spring technologies
• Expertise within modern microservices and cloud architecture
• Fantastic communication skills
• Strong software design skills
• Experience with Kafka (highly desired)
