Job Description

IT Trainer required by market leading, award winning, professional services organisation. Our client needs someone who can commit to 1 day a week onsite at either of our clients 8 UK office locations, with the remaining remote.Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide training on a mix of bespoke business systems alongside familiar off-the-shelf packages, such as Microsoft Office. The training combines functional instruction with guidance on company processes and policies.
  • Produce a range of tools to support a blended learning approach that is appropriate for busy professionals; from quick reference guides and instructional intranet pages, to video-based training, eLearning modules and manuals for all of our clients applications.(These are stored on their intranet (SharePoint) and maintained and kept up to date by the IT Training team).
  • Manage the IT Training delivery calendar, schedule courses, and maintain records of all training attendance.
  • Support users with IT related questions; fielding not only ad hoc queries, but also working with the IT Service Desk to publish helpful tips, targeted at reducing Service Desk calls.
  • Assist in the production and delivery of project based IT training.

  • Able to simplify - You have a natural approach to learning; able to learn technical concepts quickly and explain them in a simple way.
  • Business oriented - You have a track record for creating and delivering technical training that you designed around your learners roles, needs and business processes.
  • A Presenter / Producer - You enjoy using video and webinars as a medium for delivering learning.
  • Cool under pressure - Able to manage changing priorities and unexpected challenges while remaining calm and professional at all times.
  • Experience of delivering IT Training in a classroom is essential.
  • Formal training qualifications are desirable (in particular TAP, CIPD and MOS)
  • A deep understanding of Microsoft Office 2019 and Microsoft 365 suite would be a distinct advantage.
Nice To Haves:
  • Previous experience of eLearning authoring, particularly using Adobe Captivate
  • Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP software.
  • Interaction or similar client relationship manager software (CRM).
  • DocuSign or similar digital signature software.
This fantastic role comes with a basic salary of £35,000-40,000 p/a and on top of the bespoke training package, comes with the following benefits: Remote working, annual salary review, 25 days holiday (which will increase to 30 days based upon length ofservice), private medical insurance, pension and many more. This will include a bonus scheme which is being introduced in the Summer.
