Job Description

IT Support Analyst required by market leading, award winning, professional services organisation based in Avonmouth, Bristol. This role will be 2 days a week onsite and 3 days remote (With flexibility)The IT Support Analyst will provide 1st and 2nd line IT Support, handling incidents, answering service requests, assist with continuous improvement and deliver IT elements to wider projects.Main Duties:

  • Responsible for logging, assignment and timely resolution of incidents, problems, and service requests, escalating where necessary
  • Proactively identify and propose opportunities to improve IT offerings to the End User
  • Provide accurate content and input for departmental reports, including but not limited to Monthly Departmental KPIs/Scorecard
  • Equipment Lifecycle, identifying equipment approaching End of Life with a view to replacement
  • Responsible for the provision of new Hardware and reimaging of existing
  • Hardware troubleshooting
  • Maintain departmental asset register, ensuring levels of IT Hardware is maintained
  • Ordering and Receipting IT purchase orders
Ideal Background:
  • Proven experience working within an IT Support environment ideally within in a 1st/2ndLine IT Support role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, MacOS and Active Directory administration
  • Experience in managing Cloud technologies such as Office 365, including Exchange Online (with Advanced Threat Protection), SharePoint & Teams
  • Ability to be independent and resourceful, escalating issues where necessary
  • Maintains strong relationships with colleagues both within IT and across the wider business
  • Willingness and aspiration to stay abreast of the latest technology developments
  • Highly organised and displays strong attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, communication, and customer service skill
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
This fantastic role comes with a basic salary of £22,000-26,000 p/a depending on experience and is accompanied with an excellent benefits package which includes: 25 days holiday, contributory Pension, Life Assurance (3x Salary), Health Care, Free Parkingand a generous product discount to name a few.
