Were steered by core values that promote service, quality, innovation,and opportunity in everything we do.Role OverviewWe are seeking an IT Audit Manager to join our growing Audit team, to lead end to end IT internal audits. This includes ensuring all audit work is performed to a high standard, managing relationships with stakeholders and providing assurance on the effectivenessof internal controls and risk management by delivering clear audit reports that challenge management to continually improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal controls.Working patternThe role is based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of workingfrom home and coming into the office.Role Accountabilities

  • Partnering with the Senior Audit Management, lead the end the end audit.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with senior managers across the business to influence improvements in the risk and control frameworks.
  • Support Hargreaves Lansdown accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management and control processes across all business areas and influence management to make improvements.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to consider how data can be mined for data lead insights and effective audit testing.
  • Work on ones own initiative or leading small teams that may include third party auditors.
  • Feed into the audit planning process using a strategic standpoint, built on experience.
  • Mentor and coach others in the team.
  • Always seek to consider improvements in methodology and general ways of working including maintenance of an effective QA framework.
Skills & experience
  • Experienced in auditing technical Security and Resilience IT controls across the technology stack, for example at application and infrastructure layers and transformation/change, in particular IT change.
  • Skilled at undertaking integrated audits
  • Functional working knowledge of data analytics
  • Exposure to Operational Resilience / Cloud governance and technical controls / Payments services/attestations
  • Possess an analytical approach to problem solving
  • A collaborator and effective communicator, able to present complex ideas simply
  • Proficient at forging relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrable influencing and negotiating skills, able to manage challenging conversations
  • Astute attention to detail
  • Confident with agile ways of working
  • Operate with a global mindset, able to follow client/product journeys.
  • CISA, other relevant qualifications such as CRISC/CISSP
