Job Description Morgan McKinley are partnering with an innovative and dynamic manufacturing business, who are looking for an immediately available interim finance lead. Morgan McKinley are partnering with an innovative and dynamic manufacturing business, who are looking for an immediately available interim finance lead. This position is looking for someone to stabilise and maintain the finance function, whilst the businesslooks to recruit for a permanent, more long term solution. With that said, this position does have the propensity to go permanent. Initially scoped at 3 months, this role is hybrid with both office and home based working. The key responsibilities are more focused around maintaining and processing the finance function to a very high standard, and veers away from a change management andtransformation role. This position requires the right candidate to: - Focus on all cash flow activities including WIP and future business. - Process all reconciliations, from bank, inter company and balance sheet. - Maintain reporting deadlines to a very high standard and close out the ledgers for month end activities. - Complete the payroll and ensure all activities and entries are correct. - Have a proactive leadership and mentoring approach to junior members of staff. - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Aid with system implementation activities and provide a succinct handover. The right candidate for this position will ideally be qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and have experience within a manufacturing / software based organisation. With a very competitive day rate, this a great role for a financial controller to add value, maintainhigh standards and ultimately be a great ambassador for the business and its values.
