Interested in working for a family run, long standing independent chartered broker with exciting growth plans for the businessAn extremely flexible employer, who are all about family first.Successfully serviced their clients for over 40 years.Reed is recruiting for a Personal Lines Account Handler to join a Bristol based business due to growth, on a full time, permanent basis.Within this role, you will take care of client servicing, renewal of insurance programmes, claims support and building your book of business based on warm inbounds.As a Personal Lines Account Executive, you will offer a range of personal lines insurances – motor, home, travel, caravan, and legal expenses.There is opportunity for you to earn extra money on top of your basic salary, with overtime available whenever you’d like it.Location: St George, Bristol (BS5) - £15 parking per month next door to officeWorking hours: Mon – Fri, 9-5 (hour for lunch).Overtime paid: For any extra hours that you work either side of the 9-5, you will be paid overtime on top of your annual salary, plus if you want to pick up a Saturday morning shift, you can do as optional (time and a half paid)Benefits: Commission and Bonus, 25 days leave + Bank Holidays, increases with service, pension contribution, money towards a range of insurance products, Training academy for CII, earn commission on family/friends, sick pay after 1 year ofservice and much moreDuties:Conducting telephone fact finds to gain detailed knowledge to understand customers’ requirements.Search for the most competitive products best suited to individual customers with access to specialist insurers.Proactive approach when following up on outstanding sales quotes and closing quotes.Maintain sufficient pipeline of prospective clients.Obtaining e-traded insurance terms to meet client requirements.Maintaining positive and professional relationships with underwriter partners.Negotiating with underwriters to obtain insurance terms to meet client requirements.Assisting clients with claims issues.Renewal of client accounts. Up-sales and cross-sales.Requirements:Experience working in a personal lines – Motor, Home, Travel, Caravan, Legal expenses is preferredKnowledge of MS Office suiteStrong negotiation skills with a win-win mindsetExcellent listening skills with inquisitive mind
