Infrastructure Support Analyst - Web Applications & CITRIXLocation - Keynsham, Bristol (moving to Aztec West in 2023)Salary: £33,500British Nationals - will need to go through SC and potentially DV ClearanceAdditional Information - Working as part of a team of 4, to run web applications, including Citrix, off the shelf productsNot just a helpdesk analyst - need to be all-rounderHappy to consider University Leaver/Graduate who has some employment experience* Knowledge of Exchange, Skype, Solarwinds, SCCM.* Experience using Databases, SQL and of Windows operating systems.* Supporting web applications and CITRIX services * Knowledge of VMware for infrastructure support.* Some knowledge of Linux operating systems is desirableThe principal accountabilities of this role: *The role will specialise within the support team for maintaining the high availability of core infrastructure applications and services, which includes web applications, application services for messaging (Skype, Exchange) monitoring (e.g. Solarwinds), patching(e.g. WSUS, REPO, SCCM), deploying updates, and supporting CITRIX and VMWARE desktops.*Supported applications and services range from commercial off the shelf products, bespoke systems, and internally developed applications/systems. Application support analysts are responsible for fixing application and system problems which disrupt the serviceour customers depend on, issues can come either via the Servicedesk or by monitoring systems alerting indicating issues which need to be followed up and resolved.*Additional responsibilities will include installing and configure new applications, supporting and upgrading through life, plus using available software and specialist monitoring tools to support the monitoring, troubleshooting and auditing of core Infrastructureapplications systems and services. *Also ensures systems are backed up correctly via the backup tape swapping rota including offsite tape storage.*The role holder should possess the knowledge and experience to make informed and responsible decisions, which are technically sound and take fully into account the needs of the business and the customer.*Ensures that all tasks and procedures are carried out effectively and efficiently to agreed levels of service or specific requirements of Service Level Agreements. *Responds to enquiries by management, specialists or others and is able to deal with a range of problems including those of high complexity, only escalating those needing specialist or management attention. *Conducts investigations of operational problems, makes proposals for improvement, and implements them when appropriate using the usual control procedures. *Provides support if required to team colleagues supporting the server hardware, networks and client PC devices.---Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
