Job Description

HR Advisor vacancy available!Are you an experienced Advisor looking to make a difference to a growing and busy food distribution businessI am looking to speak to hands on, experienced Advisors who thrive working at pace. Managing a volume of cases – 30 -35 cases on average, from low levelsickness to morecomplicated issues touching on health and safety and legal compliance,mediation, occupationalhealthinput, reasonable adjustments, capability and conduct as well as working closely with trade unions.With support from a wonderful HR Manager – you will work onsite in Portbury 5 days a week with the occasional travel to Trowbridge to spend time with the rest of the HR function – your onsite presences will enable you to work closely with your stakeholdersand make a real impact on the business!This is a role with lots of variety and offers a great opportunity to be part of a fantastic team in a business that is thriving.You will balance supporting, advising, coaching and, where appropriate, influencing and challenging managers to ensure fair and consistent procedures and policies are being followed- in line with employment law and their policies.You will take a proactive role in ER cases - including administration and attending meetings such as hearings, grievances, investigations and appeals.You will often be the only HR representative on site full time so need to draw in your skills, knowledge and experience to take initiative- recognising when something needs to be escalated or you need to seek advice.
