An exciting opportunity as Head of Supply chain with a global engineering services business with locations across the UK.With a focus on the companys Marine business sector you will design, implement and continually evolve a procurement strategy in line with the Group P&SC function.Key Responsibilities:* Manage a team of Procurement professionals to support BU requirements, ensuring appropriate capability, capacity and structure to meet both current and future demands with a clear set of accountabilities for key activities aligned to other departments andteams.* Monitor and manage overall supply chain performance and lead plans to maximise performance both internally and externally* Manage budgets for the Procurement teaThe role would be permanent with a flexible salary range and senior management benefits including car, up to 20% bonus and private medical.Skills and Experience Required:* Sourcing and Contract Management* Strong Communication with the ability to present updates at Board Level* Ability to analyse and interpret data to make decisions* Planning and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise high profile tasks simultaneously* Leadership and People Management* Able to build and maintain relationships* Stakeholder Management* Experience of people management* Demonstrable experience in strategy development and delivery* Experience of running a Shared Service in a high volume environment* Experience working within highly regulated environments* Professional accreditation desirable (e.g. CIPS, CILT, CIPD, CMI)
