Job Description

Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a role for a Head of Estates for a Community Health Care Company in Bristol.Travel to multiple locations we be required for the role. Looking for someone full time however part time/ adjusted hours would be available for the right candidate.This pay rate for this role is negotiable and has an initial 3-month contract.Main duties:

  • Responsible for the Estates and Facilities Services, ensuring that estates and service strategies and plans are in place and that adequate resources exist in order to provide a professional, safe, secure and high quality environment for all service users,staff and visitors.
  • Provide leadership to a team of 5 to continue their development as well as the development of the estate offering for the organisation.
  • Managing the costs associated with estates as well as delivering increased utilisation of all estate to ensure best value from the relatively fixed levels of expenditure.
  • Chair the Accommodation Board which includes representatives from all areas of service and corporate teams and exists to bring together all discussion on estates and facilities management.
Requirements of the Head of Estates:
  • Able to demonstrate a senior level of Estates and Management experience.
  • Experience of all types of Estates management and both hard and soft FM services.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months is desirable but not essential
