Job Description

In a surprisingly short time, our client, a highly successful home improvement retailer, have carved out a significant ecommerce presence in their field providing a fast-paced but rewarding working environment, with an emphasis on developing the brand and their dedicated staff. As the company enter a new phase of expansion, with additional brands and territories, they are looking for a hands-on Head of Digital Marketing, a data-driven performance marketer, who can own the marketing budget for Paid Marketing channels and deliver acquisition and long-term growth.Key responsibilities:

  • Management of all Digital Marketing channels (PPC, CRM, SEO, Paid & Organic Social, Display) across multiple brands
  • Tracking and assessing Digital Marketing spend against budget
  • Delivering online revenue targets by maximising the return on investment from digital marketing spend
  • Allocating budgets based on performance (channels, brands and campaigns) to ensure optimal ROI
  • Developing and adapting reports, communicating digital marketing performance to business stakeholders
  • Data analysis - drilling into the data to identify areas of underperformance and opportunity
  • Continuous improvement - optimising ROI through A/B testing
  • Managing a direct report
  • With a history of promoting from within, for the right candidate there will be plenty of opportunities for development as the company continues to expand.The role is based in West of England, and is commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Swindon, Bath, Worcester, Hereford, Newport.
