Job Description

Head of Development and Delivery | Fully Remote | Award-winning Fintech Scale-up in Bristol

SR2 are exclusively partnered with a highly ambitious fintech scale-up based in Bristol who have who have built a consumer focussed product that is helping to make a real difference to peoples lives.Their product to date has already helped over 500,000 people improve their financial future, not surprisingly they have already won a won a myriad of awards and established partnerships with the backing of a number of major banks.After launching into the UK and US markets and are now looking for a Head of Development and Delivery to join them on their global scale up journey, breaking into Europe and beyond.As Head of Development and Delivery, you will work closely with the leadership team to spearhead the technology side of the business, coming up with innovative ideas in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for establishing a IT Architecturepractice that can be adopted by various systems, ensuring that they are maintainable, scalable, robust and secure. You will also ensure that the best practices are in place by implementing a Spotify model.Experience they are looking for:
  • The ideal person will have been there and done it - with 5+ years experience in a similar position
  • Naturally, any experience in the Fintech or Financial Services space will help as youll likely have a better understanding of security, regulation and data control within the FS space.
  • Ideally youll have some experience in the LAMP stack (including Laravel and React/ React Native)
  • Architecture experience
  • Youll be pragmatic - they dont want someone who says "this cant be done" but rather focuses on what can be done
  • Understanding and implementation of the Spotify Model
  • Naturally youll have your finger on the pulse in respect of trends within development, cutting edge tooling and impactful methodologies
