    • An outstanding web and app development specialist agencyin central Bristol are looking for an ambitious, driven and energised Head of Developement to join them and help push their projected journey of realistic successes. Their expertise covers web and mobile (Android & iOS) to bespoke Magento eCommerce sites. Initially you’ll be working on a fully remote basis with the view to maintain a mix of remote and on-siteworking once restrictions lift.   • Solid background in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6/7.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries would be a bonus.

  • A bonus if you have Magento experience.
    • What you’ll be doingTo fit into the culture you must be ambitious, dedicated and innovative when it comes to best practice and improving software, plus you’ll have a true passion for technology and making things work well. You’ll be managing and further developing the team and be responsible for developing, testing, releasing, running, and maintaining their growing suite of softwareapplications. As well as establishing policies, processes and procedures that produce high-qualitywebsites and apps, you’ll also be driving the overall direction for the organisations architecture and software development practice. You’ll have your say heard and respected by being given the opportunity to work collaboratively with the other heads of the business to jointly deliver against business objectives. Ensure all code reviews meet company standards as well as spot checking and process updates. Create and maintain a robust and efficient deployment process that is integrated with JIRA. You’ll need to create and maintain a process for R&D narratives and tracking of eligible R&D projects as well as delivering projects or parts of a project on time and in budget.
