Job Description

Head of CRM - Bristol£40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits. Established in 1999, the Affordable Art Fair is the leading marketplace for affordable contemporary art under a ceiling price of £6,000/€6,000/$10,000. In a usual year, around 230,000 art-lovers visit an Affordable Art Fair in one of 10 cities around the world, including London, New York, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, Brussels and Hamburg. The online marketplace has seen rapid growth and now hosts 250 galleries, offering 25,000 artworks with sales regularly shipping to 16 markets.THE ROLEReporting to Chief Marketing Officer and working in close collaboration with the Marketing and Digital teams, the CRM and Data Manager will be pivotal in demonstrating the value of putting the customer at the heart of the organisation. They will actively contribute to marketing, communication and data strategies aimed at driving ticket revenue and art sales both online and at the fairs.The candidate will be passionate about data and insight, be technology and numerically astute and have the willingness to go the extra mile.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESStrategy

  • Evolve the CRM ecosystem to provide an effective sales funnel from acquisition and lead generation to maximising customer lifetime value. Working with the Data Analyst review system requirements and options for integration.
  • Develop the CRM and data strategy and tactics for all data-led activity, including lead generation and the creation of a retention and loyalty programme to drive online art sales and grow customer lifetime value
  • Ownership of the email channel, setting the global email strategy and targets, alongside analysis of key metrics and insight
  • Further develop the automation of customer sequences and roll-out of dynamic behavioural content across email
  • Contribute to ticketing strategy, advising on best practice and system capability
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with data protection and related regulations
  • Contribute to the global marketing strategy, annual objectives and targets
  • Management
  • Management of marketing and ticketing systems (e.g. Active Campaign, Blendr, Eventbrite, Billeto, DataStudio, Google Docs), plus be the marketing lead on relevant Digital systems (e.g. Wordpress, Wisepops, GoogleAnalytics) and their integration with one another
  • Provide guidance to CRM super users on box office set up, including B2B and B2C automations, and manage for the EU
  • Work with local teams to ensure email best practice, overseeing a group of super-users to supervise production, including look and feel, integrations, automations and segmentations
  • Work with local teams and super-users to collate key metrics and analyse the performance of email, CRM and data initiatives from campaigns (such as post-fair and monthly trading), driving continuous improvement through testing and learning
  • Deliver internal comms and training to support best practice in email, CRM and data
  • Support analysis of other marketing channels and campaigns

  • Contribute to the collation of data and analysis for various reports and proposals, such as board reports, monthly trading reports, post-fair reviews and sponsorship proposals

  • Essential experience
  • B2C marketing experience covering acquisition and retention
  • Experience in relevant systems: CRM, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, WordPress
  • Knowledge of either the events, consumer retail or art market in the UK and with some international experience

  • The CRM and Data Manager position is full time, 40 hours per week
  • Salary will be commensurate with experience
