Job Description

Handyman / PainterBristol area Temp £18.00 to £20.00 per hour Howells Contracts are recruiting for a leading contractor to recruit a Handyman / Painter and Decorators to carry out repairs and maintenance works in the Bristol area.Handyman Additional Requirements

  • Completing basic maintenance tasks such as painting and decorating, patch plastering
  • Ability to spot faults and report to the helpdesk
  • Understanding and ability to comply with Health & Safety requirements
  • Although you dont need any formal qualifications it is essential that you have experience in a similar role
Essential requirements
  • Previous experience working in a similar maintenance/ handyman/ caretaker role
  • Experience working in commercial environments is essential
  • A positive can-do attitude - were looking for people who can walk into a building, spot problems and fabric maintenance issues and get them fixed with little fuss
  • Flexible approach to work; working both in a team and lone working
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Valid Clean UK Driving Licence
  • Current valid DBS Check or be willing to undertake as required
  • Experience working within maintenance
  • Clean, presentable, and must be eligible to work in the UK (with proof)
