The difference you will makeThe role will demand meticulous data management skills and collaborative working alongside an innovative approach to improve the way we manage opportunities for planning and forecasting purposes. Your main responsibilities will include:* Utilising a variety of data sources and tools including Power BI report development, with an in-depth understanding of data modelling and transforming business requirements into powerful visualisations* An understanding of data warehousing as well as demonstrable knowledge of ERP and CRM systems, which could include; IFS, SAP and Dynamics365* Taking ownership and responsibility for data accuracy, relevancy and accessibility where appropriate to inform the decision making of budget holders and resource managers* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with experience of project work, enabling you to handle tight deadlines, working constructively with both operation and growth teams to deliver on shared goals* Be passionate about driving Business Intelligence and data improvement initiatives, recognising the potential to drive decision making and storytelling through quality, accessible data* A pro-active and inquisitive approach to identifying opportunities to improve working processes and systems, having the confidence to question the status quo* Have an understanding of the business winning, business development and capture of new opportunities through the defence procurement processWho were looking forYoull be someone for whom collaboration and working cross functionally comes naturally.
