Job Description

Graduate Civil Engineer - Bristol | £23,000 - £26,000 We have an exciting new opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join a collaborative engineering consultancy in Bristol.This multidisciplinary consultancy already has well-established offices in the UK and is looking to replicate the successes and grow the Bristol base to a similar size. With these plans for growth, there will be excellent opportunity for progression as thebusiness expands.The successful Graduate Civil Engineer will be joining a youthful team of talented Engineers who work on a variety of commercial, residential, education, infrastructure, and healthcare projects. Any experience you have in these industries will be beneficialand other industry experience is also welcomed.The successful Graduate Civil Engineer will need some experience working within a consultancy environment - ideally, working on infrastructure design for the built environment. You will receive in-house support and mentorship towards achieving CharteredEngineer with the ICE.Responsibilities and requirements of this Graduate Civil Engineer position include:

  • Designing drainage using SuDs principles to satisfy current planning policy and Water Authority requirements
  • Modeling drainage networks using MicroDrainage design software
  • Working with PDS and Civils 3D on complex schemes
  • Produce the information and drawings necessary for section 104, 106, 38, and 278 Agreements and handle the approval process liaising with the necessary approving authorities
  • Carry out infrastructure design to comply with the relevant Building Regulations
  • Attending site and design team meetings
  • Ideally, you will be qualified with MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering and be passionate about becoming a Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • The successful Civil Engineer will have strong communication, analysis, technical design, and drawing skills.
