  • Proven background in JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Modern front-end JavaScript library, ideally React.
  • Well-versed with NodeJS on the server-side.
  • Desire to work in an agile, highly collaborative start-up environment.
  • Desire to learn new tech and share your knowledge with the team.
  • You will have tested your own code before.

  • Knowledge of cloud-native development, preferably Google.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Use or knowledge of Microservices architecture.
  • Any iOS or Android experience.

    • What you’ll be doingThe technical challenges range from building and growing an online marketplace, as well as making improvements to digital visitor experience. The products are very much user-facing so an eye for usability is key. There is a mobile app and a bespoke web app – every developer is able to deliver entire vertical features from databases, deployments, services and the front-end. React and React Native are used on the front-end, backed by a GraphQL API implemented with NodeJS with Postgres running on Kubernetes. The development team has a tendency towards functional style of programming (with pair programming) and focus on testing, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
