Job Description

My Bristol (Fishponds BS16) based micro-mobility client is offering an excellent permanent opportunity to join their team as a Fleet Specialist.Their operation is continuously expanding and they require more drivers to ensure their fleet of e-mobility vehicles are ready to be used in and around the city.The Fleet Specialist is responsible for collecting, deploying, re balancing or re-parking bulks of vehicles in their market on top of performing some battery swaps. The Fleet Specialist is part of the local in-market team reporting to the Fleet Manager.Salary:£25,000 for day (includes morning and afternoon) shift role£27,000 for night shift roleThere are multiple roles and shifts available.6am-2pm -Tuesday - SaturdaySunday - Thursday2pm-10pmTuesday - SaturdaySunday - Thursday10pm-6am (Night shift)Tuesday - SaturdayNote: You will only work one of the shift rotas, the above are just the available positions. Upon applying for the role, on the screening call I will ask for your shift preference.There are additional benefits as a permanent employee that I will go through with you on the initial conversation.Day to day responsibilities:

  • Make sure that the logistics surrounding collection and deployment of scooters are done as smoothly and efficiently as possible, in order to minimise the amount of time that vehicles are waiting for collection or deployment.
  • Search, find and collect all scooters that need to be retrieved back to the warehouse.
  • Execute battery swaps tasks in the streets of your city
  • Continuously evaluate our nodes and make sure that the vehicles are deployed in a safe and compliant way, while being easily accessible
  • Execute re-balancing tasks, which consists of collecting scooters in low-demand area to replace them in high-demand areas
  • Responsible of the in-field quality by identifying damaged scooters, re-balancing wrongly parked scooter, rise upside down scooters, etc
  • Being able to perform quick fixes on the scooters that can be repaired in streets
WHAT YOULL NEED TO EMBARK
  • 23+ years old (unfortunately, our insurance does not cover anyone younger)
  • A UK full driving licence help for at least 2 years with a max 6 DVLA licence points
  • In-depth knowledge of your city and youre used to drive in your city
  • Responsible team player that can manage tasks alone and also work well together in a group.
  • Ability to motivate others and to share knowledge within the team.
  • Pragmatic problem solving mentality that executes tasks, finds solutions and works hard to reach the team targets.
  • Ready to navigate your city in a van under any weather and traffic conditions.
  • Has the ability to react calmly to stressful situations (poor parking, traffic)
  • You have a physical condition that allows you to carry heavy loads
  • Flexibility to work shifts including possible shifts during nights and weekends.
