Financial Controller£35-45k + benefitsNorth BristolDue to ongoing growth, my client is now looking for an ambitious and determined Financial Controller to join their team. This is a new role, reporting into the Managing Director and part time Finance Director. Youll form part of the management team and be responsible for financial and accounting activities across the business. Responsibilities* Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts* Analyse and report on monthly variances* Ensure financial reporting compliance with legislation* Build and develop annual budgets and financial plans* Present reports and analysis to the Senior Management Team* Manage and produce a monthly cash flow statement* Review financial and cash forecasts* Manage one other member of the finance team, and recruit as required when the business continues to grow.* Drive continuous improvement in the business process and accounting systemsSkills & Experience required* Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)* Advanced Excel and IT skills* XERO experience would be advantageous, but must be literate with accounting software* Good relationship management experience. Able to communicate finance issues to non-finance stakeholders* Good written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail, organisational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills;Thanks for considering an application.
