Job Description

Financial AccountantBristol£30-40k plus bonus plus pension plus benefitsMy market leading client requires a Financial Accountant to join their established finance team in Bristol.Responsibilities

  • Production of statutory accounts and information required the annual audit
  • Produce management accounts and supporting schedules, as well as annual budgets and income forecasts
  • Consolidation schedules
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Management and adherence of internal procedures, legislation, and audit of compliance
  • Analysis of expense claims
  • Financial reconciliation of the stock position
  • Debtor and Creditor report reconciliations
  • Reviewing payments, ensuring in line with agreed payment terms
  • lntrastat and Office for National Statistics reporting
  • Intercompany cost management
  • Providing supervisory support to the finance team where required
    • Skills and experience required
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience
  • Proven technical accounting experience across statutory accounting and reporting, and ideally some audit experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management experience
  • Strong/advanced Excel skills
