Job Description

Role: Finance Transformation Manager - 9 Months FTCROLE PURPOSEArtis Finance is delighted to be partnering with an expanding business in Bristol that are currently at an exciting phase in the development of their finance capability and requires an interim on an FTC .The ideal candidate will have strong financial management and finance systems implementation experience, to assist with the transformation plan that has already been developed to include the roll-out of Dynamics 365, Adaptive Planning and Power BI.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage and excite the finance team and broader business about the finance transformation programme, developing and communicating clear outcomes for the programme
  • Ensure that the transformation programme delivers the defined outcomes
  • Work closely with both the internal project team and DXC to ensure delivery of the project on time and on budget
  • Ensure that a vanilla implementation is delivered for D365 and Adaptive, with changes to business processes made to ensure that the new systems are used in the most efficient and effective way
  • Lead on the delivery of the transformation programme to initiate change and improve existing finance processes, controls and systems, ensuring that best practice is followed and use of the systems optimised
  • Business partner with the finance team to coordinate all elements of the transformation plan across the finance function (processes and systems).
  • Strong collaboration with the senior finance team to understand their specific needs and requirements
  • Ensure strong ownership of the system and related business process changes amongst the finance team and broader business. Develop governance processes allow relevant members of the finance team to "Sign-off" on key decisions
  • Take ownership of all process mapping, process documentation, change management and risk mitigation
  • Manage and track all project performance including liaising with stakeholders, including the executive team, to provide regular updates and ensure that an effective communications, engagement and training plan is in place to support
  • Manage the delivery of the project roll out across the business ensuring that colleagues are aware of the impacts on their areas of the business
  • SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Experienced interim with a background focussing on all areas of finance transformation.
  • The candidate will have overseen change/transformation programmes in the past and will have a deep understanding of the relevant financial controls / processes that need to be in place.
  • The interim will have highly developed communication skills and will be used to liaising and influencing with stakeholders across all business areas.
  • High levels of organisation, a hand- on approach and the ability to cope under pressure are all key traits for this role.
  • The candidate will have a background in delivering transformational change
  • Experience of process improvement and project management
  • An analytical, logical thinker, inquisitive with a keen eye for detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with examples of adding value as both an individual contributor and an active team member
