Job Description

A well established Financial Services Consultancy businessbased in Pill are recruiting for a FinanceAdministrator to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

  • Starting salary up to £26,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Office-based role with parking on site
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • A friendly, open plan office with training and progression opportunities
This is a great opportunity if you have an interest in a career in Financial Services, specifically within a Paraplanner or Advisory environment. This role would suit someone who is either a graduate with reletive qualifications or an establlished Finance Administrator.Key Duties for the Finance Assistant:
  • Preparing relevant paperwork for client meetings
  • Submitting online applications
  • Answering the phone and be able to deal with client questions in a timely manner.
  • Collating research for recommendation.
  • Using quotation systems for Mortgage, Protection, Investment products.
  • Provide template suitability letters for the adviser to complete.
  • Maintain and update information held on the companys system.
  • Sending client authorities to providers and chasing the required information
  • Liaise with clients and providers
  • O&M Research
  • Buy / Sell upon client / adviser instruction
  • Checking cash balance reports
  • Handling of Deaths - Wills/Executors etc
  • Producing MI reports as requested by the adviser
Skills and Attributes Required for the Finance Assistant:
  • Experience in Administration
  • Experience in a Financial Services role, ideally with a relevant qualification
  • Excellent standard of written & verbal communication.
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Ability to empathise and build strong business relationships
  • Possess the ability to work using your own initiative, must have a can-do attitude and be solution focused.
  • Ability to manage own time and workload
  • Good computer knowledge and skills, must be comfortable with Microsoft word, Excel and Intelligent Office
