Finance & ReconciliationAdministrator based in BristolLocation: Hybrid role, working from home but must be within a commutable distance to our clients office in BS13Offering between £20,000-£21,000 per annum based on experienceFull time, permanent roleWe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is a Global Financial AdministrationCompanywho providea range of financial services for customers and businesses including pensions, investments and mortgages. We have a very exciting opportunity withinthe business for several Finance and ReconciliationAdministrators to join their existing team based in Bristol. Our client will provide full training to all candidates no matter what level of experience you hold, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain newskills or expand your existing knowledge. This is a permanent opportunity which will give you a genuine opportunity to kick start your career in finance or gain a long term career doing what you already love!Please note this will be a hybrid work from home role, splitting your time between their offices based in Bristol and home.The RoleWorking within the Reconciliation team is a very important, vital but interesting rolethis department is responsible for ensuring all funds and assets arereconciledand transferred to the corrects parties both externally and internally as well as identifyingand questioning any discrepancies which will allow the business to ensure accurate and up to date records/date inline with internal and FCA guidelines.

  • Ensuring all assets arereconciledfully, accurately and within the prescribed timescales
  • Identifying and escalating all reconciliation discrepancies in accordance with the relevant policy and/or regulatory guidelines
  • Monitoring and following up discrepancies that are being investigated by other internal business units or third parties through to satisfactory resolution
  • Meeting standards and deadlines established by the direct line manager
  • Adhering to procedures while also focusing on improving efficiencies
  • Liaising with other departments within Computershare to understand and resolve differences
  • Taking ownership and being able to respond to queries on the accounts from within the area as well as other areas of the business
  • Complying with operational risk and regulatory Control policies and procedures, making sure any breaches to regulations are reported
The PersonYou dont necessarily need a finance background to apply for this position, but you must beable to demonstrate strong analytical skills and a vested interest in the world of finance.Attention to detail is essential and the ability to show capability and flexibilitywithin the rolerequirements.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written based.
  • Ability to use your initiativeand work autonomouslyour client wants their employees to trust their judgement, think outside the box and be able to make decisions on their own.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and high understanding of numeracy.
  • As you will be working hybrid it is important to be self motivated and disciplined
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems and work across various IT packages.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
The Working Hours
  • Working Monday to Friday between 9am-5pm
  • 35 hours per week
