Job Description

Staff Counts Recruitment has partnered with a firm that specialises in the design and construction of bespoke play equipment and landscaping for tourist attractions, and we are searching for a Finance & HR Manager, to join their team in Bristol.Responsibilities• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.• Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take• Maintain the financial health of the organization.• Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.• Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.• Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.• Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.• Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy• Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues• Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management• Nurture a positive working environment• Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programsRequirements and Skills• BA/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics• Proven experience as a Financial Manager• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills• Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles• At least 2 years of previous HR experience • Strong Payroll experience • Knowledge of HR systems and databasesRequired skills
