We are currently working in collaboration with a leading telecoms network provider with locations across the UK. The position will be working on high volume FTTP schemes across the South West and Midlands.This position offers excellent long-term career growth potential along with extensive training. You will have the flexibility to manage your own workload offering a better work-life balance.Salary to £50k | Company Car or Allowance | Pension | 25 Days HolidayKey Essentials:* Overseeing high volume FTTP projects involving PIA work including fibre (cabling / splicing) - underground and overhead works* Overall management of fibre works; helping to create the FTTP network* Ensuring that the program is delivered on time using management processes whilst covering risk mitigation and forecasting* Provide weekly reporting on progress along with risks encountered and/or forecasted* Monitor and manage all SHEQ practices; ensuring that guidelines are adhered to* Ensure that quality failures and service deterioration trends are reported to the client* Responsible for monitoring, reporting and escalation of issues with risk mitigation management and establishing recovery plans helping to minimise impact to the program* Ensure that accurate cost management and forecasting is provided. Helping to effectively manage change and mitigate risks, minimising any additional costs* Responsible for managing relationships with subcontractors and key suppliers; ensuring that contractual KPIs and technical specifications are adhered to* Ensure that all works completion information and As-laid drawings are checked and handed over within agreed timeframesRequirements:* Previous Project Management experience in a high volume FTTH environment* Excellent knowledge of external fibre telecoms networks* Qualified with Project Management and Health & Safety accreditationDue to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel throughout the South West and Midlands - lodge allowance will be paid#projectmanager #utilities #streetwork #NRSWA #jointing #fibre #splicing #splice #flex #pon #connections #manmanagement #cabinet #chamber #overhead #pole #telecom #FTTP #FTTC #FTTP #FTTX #blownfibre #duct #desilt #blockage #subduct #microduct Required skills
