Experienced Software Engineer | Tech 4 Good | Greenfield £60,000 - £95,000 DOE. Bristol Working arrangements from June: a minimum of once every fortnight in office but more if you would like. We are looking for 5 experienced engineers for one of Bristols best who have one of the strongest brands, engineers and cultures! They acquired another business early 2020 to progress their mission further and there are no signs of stopping, literally over the past 12 months the business has hired an additional 200 engineers across the UK and EU.They are underway building a greenfield product for the energy sector, they know there is something out their at the moment but they dont think it is very good so with £200m investment behind them they are creating something better. They are a great bunch of real team players, pulling together to get stuff done. You will have the opportunity to support and deliver a step change in the world we live in from the code you create. Youll have an agile mind, positive approach to problem-solving, with an enthusiasm for tech for good.The team has a lot of Junior Engineers within so we are looking for people with a minimum of 4 years behind you. These role are for senior and leads to do some heavy lifting to ensure that the team are making good architectural decisions across the board.You will be working within a team of other senior leaders responsible for designing and evolving the architecture for the generic pipeline. This work will include building proof of concepts, delivering code into production, whiteboarding or collaborating with other teams and engineers to achieve needed steps. Skills wise: We are looking for a mix of skills, polyglot/language agnostic people would fit in well.
