Home working contract opportunity with a company that specialises in medical equipment. The company has received multiple awards and is internationally recognised for their existing product line of cutting edge medical equipment.Embedded Software Microblaze roleYou will be working as the sole Embedded Software developer in a small R&D team of 6 people working on a next generation product release, the development is to be completed in a Soft Core Microblaze environment, so you must be able to work within the memory constraints. You are able to complete the work largely remotely a small percentage of on-site visits that may be required to meet the development team and access the device/Hardware. This role is for an initial 6-months, pays a competitive day rate and is determined as outside of IR35.Embedded Software Microblaze requirementsAn ability to work at Driver level develoment and familarity with Microblaze is required (A separate FPGA Developer is completing the FPGA work). Any Experience with Vitus, Vivado and microblaze, VectorCast and Keil is useful and an ability to work withCoding C at a low level such as drivers, I2C, SPI, Flash memory and boot loaders is requiredEmbedded Software Microblaze application processPlease apply with an up to date CV and the interview process is then a telephone interview followed by a start on the 7th December.
