Electro Mechanical Technician

Electro Mechanical assembly engineers required for permanent, full time work at a manufacturing company in Bristol, BS14

£26,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience/qualifications.
MondayFriday, 39 hours per week
25 days holiday per year plus bank holidaysincreasing to 28 after 5 years service
Lots of overtime available - extra hours each day or on Saturday mornings
Overtime is paid at 1.5 x rate Monday to Saturday and 2 x rate for Sunday

About the role

Assemble parts to the required specification including sub-assemblies, machine build, machine panel build, wiring of machines
Complete any quality documentation required for the tasks
Identify problems with assemblies / parts and raise any quality issues following the company
procedures
Operate handling equipment and machinery when trained to do so

The right candidate

Able to read engineering drawings and understand Bill of Materials
Ability to understand mechanical design assembly
Previous electrical assembly experience in a machine manufacturing environment
Experience of assembling large fabricated parts to engineering drawings
Good dexterity with the ability to handle a variety of parts including sheet metal, machined and electrical components
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good numeracy
Computer literate
