Job Description

Electro-Mechanical Fitter - Bristol£26,000 - £28,00025 days + BH, Life Assurance 7x salary, discount portal, Healthcare planOpportunity to progress and developA new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Electro-Mechanical Fitter to join this excellent company synonymous with quality and a reputation for excellence.   • Follow all department procedures
  • Assemble parts to the required specification including: sub-assemblies, machine build, machine panel build and wiring of machines
  • Complete any quality documentation required for the tasks
  • Identify problems with assemblies / parts and raise any quality issues following the company
procedures
  • Operate handling equipment and machinery when trained to do so
  • Support the sustainment and improvement of housekeeping and health and safety practices
  • Support in the implementation and sustainment of 5S standards
  • Assist in the achievement of the Assembly operational plan
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Able to read engineering drawings and understand Bill of Materials
  • Ability to understand mechanical design assembly
  • Previous electrical assembly experience in a machine manufacturing environment
  • Experience of assembling large fabricated parts to engineering drawings
