Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Maintenance EngineerLocation: BristolSalary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum dependent on experienceTerm: PermanentMy client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a permanent basis. The Electrical Maintenance Engineering role will involve:

  • General Electrical Maintenance on machinery.
  • Having the accountability of tools.
  • Making sure regular inspection checks of electrical safety equipment are done and cleaning control panels.
  • Monitoring fixed and mobile equipment.
  • Finding root causes to faults and repairing electrical breakdowns.
  • You will always be seeking ways to continually improve operations.
  • Assisting the maintenance manager with recorded data for tracking defects and be involved with future projects.
  • Record regular stock checks to ensure minimum levels are maintained.
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • NVQ in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Services or equivalent to 17th edition wiring regulations.
  • MEWP, Forklift operators license.
  • Previous industry experience working in a similar environment.
  • Safe, component knowledge of plant equipment and a good understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of IT competency for working with spreadsheets, completing PPMs and inspection reports.
  • Can work well alone as well as part of a team.
