Piper Maddox are working with the worlds leading Aircraft Propulsion systems design and manufacturer to find an Electrical Architecture Lead. The business has been operating for the last 100 years and have now embedded itself as a world-class leader for power-dense,reliable and resilient Aerospace systems. This position will see you act as a Technical lead to design and develop advanced Power systems for Aerospace applications. What you will be doing:* Leading the design of the Electrical System in line with high-level system requirements * Providing deep and comprehensive system-level requirements and design specifications on each electrical subsystem * Communicate directly with customers and suppliers to outline commercially viable solutions * Collaborate in design reviews across the global team and ensure that the technology is being developed according to schedule * Ensure that projects are being delivered according to appropriate industry standards (ARP4754A, CS-25, DEF STAN 00-970 etc..)What we are looking for:* Strong experience and understanding of Electrical Systems for vehicle industries (Aerospace, Automotive, Marine)* A good understanding of Systems Engineering, particularly on the left-hand side of the V, and deriving subsystem requirements * An understanding of the consequences of different Electrical System design decisions and the effect on adjacent systems and the final product * Familiarity working within a highly regulated environment following industry standards * Excellent communication skills with both expert and non-expert audiences * Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline This opportunity will give you access to an industry-leading pension (double your contribution), annual Bonuses, Hybrid working and the chance to work with a leading business that is aiming to change the way we fly forever.If you think that this might be the right opportunity for you, Id love to give you some more details.
