We are looking for a dietitian who is ready & available to start a new job soon as possible!You will be joining the adult acute dietetic team providing a service for all Bristol hospital sites under the University Hospitals Bristol & Weston umbrella. Our vacant post will cover medical pathways & support the senior specialist dietitians. The majority of caseload delivered will be inpatient facing but will also include outpatients be it telephone or virtual. These pathways will require you to use your knowledge of nutrition support and behaviour change skills.We work through others to ensure all our patients can meet their nutritional goals & therefore you will be expected to deliver teaching sessions & possibly assist with training of students on dietetic placements.In this changing world, you will also need to be confident with IT as we look to adapt to different ways to reach our patients, carers & other healthcare professionals. We require someone with drive, enthusiasm and flexibility to fit in with our Nutrition & Dietetic Service and its’ growing team of dietitians and dietetic assistants. The department s service extends to the weekend and you will be expected to contribute to the weekend rota once every 4 weeks and also to bank holidays, working 2 dates out of a possible 6 in a year.Bristol is a vibrant multicultural university city surrounded by beautiful countryside, with extensive range of leisure facilities to suit everyone.
