Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Design Manager (UX/UI) to join a well established business as they look to build and grow an internal UX & UI team.Client DetailsOur client are a national financial services organisation with a great track record of offering employees valuable internal training, progression and a collaborative working environment.DescriptionThe successful Design Manager (UX/UI) will be based in Bristol and will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, leading and developing a team of UX and UI designers do deliver exemplary designs across multiple deliverables within the Digital programme
  • Leading the design process including user research, prototyping, information architecture, user testing and detailed interaction design
  • Championing a customer-centric approach to solving problems
  • Continuously improve the design methodology and keeping up to date with new tools and processes
  • Hypothesis-driven design approach, measure product success and draw actionable insights from qualitative and quantitative data
    • ProfileThe Design Manager (UX/UI) will ideally have:
  • 2+ years experience of managing a team of designers to deliver successful customer and business outcomes
  • Delivered projects with user experience and design embedded within the development of product and services
  • Delivery of prototypes and artefacts that showcase your ability to get hands on with UX design and prototyping tools (i.e. Sketch, Axure, Adobe XD, Invision Studio, Framer and similar)
  • Knowledge of the latest WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines
  • Agile delivery experience
  • Candidates will be required to travel to London regularly
