Job Description

A successful Bristol based client are looking for an interim Data Insight Specialist to join them for a period of at least 6 months.This is an integral role in supporting the data management team and the marketing team. You will be developing and utilising their customer segmentation data; whilst providing management information and insights to help meet business and marketing objectives.This person is key to driving business growth and efficiency. They are in the process of inputting new framework alongside their digital transformation as a business. You will also be looking at customer retention & acquisition, as well as customer value information to drive growth at scale.Other responsibilities include:

  • Building and constructing data sets.
  • Producing reports and MI.
  • Support in the design of the segmentation data framework.
  • Deliver key commercial and marketing insights.
  • Compiling and extracting data from different sources.
    • You will be collaborative in your approach; supporting the senior marketing manager and data manager to enable key business decisions are made.It is essential you have experience using data analytics and reporting tools such as: Qliksense, PowerBI, Tableau, Knime, Python, R. You must also be proficient in creating Macros within Excel. Experience in VBA or SQL is desirable but not essential.Because you will be working on the implementation of the data management framework - experience of Access, Access Forms, and ETL or similar would be advantageous.This role will be paid on a daily rate.
