Job Description

Credit Controller - £21,000 - £25,000 - Central BristolUtilities Company - 35 Hours a weekWe at red are currently recruiting for a growing utilities company in Central Bristol, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their Finance team. This company boasts a unique product as well as a vibrant, exciting atmosphere in office.The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely payment of invoices that have not been paid in time and will sit within the wider finance team.Credit Controller duties will include (but are not limited to);

  • Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment
  • Making outbound calls to customers
  • Providing administrative support to the wider finance team
  • Keeping a close eye on debtor account balances
  • Working with customers to implement effective payment plans
  • Producing detailed reports for management
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Answering incoming customer enquiries regarding billing issues, product problems, service questions and general client concerns
  • Working with various customer contact channels; phone, email and live chat
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every communication
  • Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies
  • Improving the relationship with customers in order for them to re-sign
