Job Description

Credit Controller Avonmouth£25- 30k p.aOur client, a multi award-winning food manufacturing firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join their team!This role offers hybrid working.The role:

  • Setting up new customers on finance software and assessing for credit worthiness.
  • Ensuring sales invoices are correctly issued to customers from the ordering software and inputting onto Sage 50 accounts.
  • Chasing customers for overdue payments and dealing with any sales invoicing queries.
  • Customer rebate calculation and reconciliation process.
  • Running customer sales reports to support sales team as required.
  • Drive improvements and controls in the invoicing processes.
  • Set up and manage new and existing EDI systems and customer portals.
  • Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system to be introduced over the next 9 months, related to this role.
  • Perform month end activities such as nominal account reconciliations.
  • Maintenance of filing system ensuring all documents are stored electronically.
Key skills/experience:
  • At least 1 years experience working in a finance department.
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts or at least good attitude towards financial systems and software and be comfortable with picking up new systems.
  • Intermediate Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Be able to work to deadlines and prioritise.
