Job Description

A Contracts Manager is required for a leading provider of general building services and both planned and reactive maintenance, covering the South and South West of England. Their service includes, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, GeneralBuilding, Decorating and they also supply and install fixed scaffolding.The company has grown year on year with a turnover of £4 million and are now at the forefront of its industry, working with high profile clients in sectors such as shopping centre, Cinemas, water or fire damage and leading pub/restaurant chains to name afew.Due to business growth, a highly capable Contracts Manager is required to provide further support the business.   • Responsible for the safety and welfare of staff and subcontractors
  • Manage subcontractors and site staff to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of the project
  • Ensure all additional work is identified, fully costed and agreed with the commercial team/client
  • Chair site meetings, progress meetings, safety meetings and project reviews
  • Ensure projects are delivered within programme and on budget
  • Develop project plans so that material resources and supply chain can be procured and scheduled
  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed and delivered on time
  • Create quotes and tenders
Contracts Manager- Position Requirements
  • Experience in a similar position
  • Relevant qualifications
  • Able to manage a wide range of projects
  • Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Dedicated to maintaining the highest quality standards
  • A good communicator with an organised and methodical approach to completion of projects
Contracts Manager- Position Remuneration
  • Salary £50,000 to £60,000
  • Company Car
  • Fuel Card
  • Monday to Friday - 40 hour week
  • 28 days holiday including bank holiday
  • Performance bonus
