JOB AD:[CONTRACT] Senior Verification EngineerLocation: UK (Bristol or Cambridge)Duration: 6 MonthsStart Date: ASAPA client based in the UK is looking for a Verification Engineer with UVM experience and must have experience within a CPU or GPU environment. This is for an initial 6-month contract.Role:The candidate will be a Senior Verification Engineer will take responsibility applying modern techniques to verify complicated hardware modules that will help deliver our mission to design a smarter future.Design and implement verification strategies to achieve our design quality goalsRoot-cause design issues in collaboration with other engineersWork with engineers from other disciplines towards mutual targetsParticipate in design and verification reviews and recommend improvementsWrite tests in C, assembly, and SystemVerilog.Develop test-benches, sequences, functional coverage, assertions and other UVM structuresImplement / maintain automated verification flows in languages such as Python / Shell scriptsUtilise latest techniques, tools and technologies for verification activitiesPlan and schedule your own work, whilst leading more junior engineersHelp guide the direction for the team through mentoringContribute to team shared knowledge via open discussions and presentationsSkills:Good knowledge of digital integrated circuit verification techniques and methodologiesExperience of IP or SOC level verification and you know how to ensure quality for tape-outAn ability to determine verification requirements from analysis of specificationsExperience with building test environments in SystemVerilog and UVMExperience of CPU, DSP, FPU architectures or debug and testing methodologiesGood programming and scripting skills (e.g. C / C++ / Python / Shell)Experience of industry standard verification toolsExperience of Version Control Software (e.g. Git / Mercurial / Perforce / Subversion)Good communication skills in spoken and written English
