Job Description

Following a very exciting period of growth; including multiple new business acquisitions, we at Wilton Group are pleased to be expanding our Team with the addition of a Commercial Finance Partner to be based at our Bristol Office.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pensions, a real attention to detail and a demonstrable commercial lean. You’ll be a true business partner to the pensions management team and use your experience to influence existing processes, suggesting and rolling out improvements where appropriate, and supporting the continued growth of the business.Role DetailsJob Title: Commercial Finance PartnerSalary:Circa £50,000Location: BristolHours Per Week: Full-timeAccountabilities / Competencies

  • Review our monthly, quarterly, annual revenue forecasts and quality of the full body of demand and support the business leaders.
  • Deliver P&L Rolling Forecasts, 3-way cash flow, Budgets, and report the Division, Country and Group Leadership outlook.
  • Work closely with our central finance team to develop effective financial reporting processes in order to accurately track weekly revenue and outlooks/commitment across the pension division, delivering accurate updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Drive awareness of financial drivers and cost-consciousness throughout the organisation.
  • Proactive partnership with business leaders to provide financial insight and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Oversee the contract to cash process, work with pensions administrators team in executing contracts promptly, drive billing efficiencies, and work with collections team to ensure our clients pay according to agreed terms.
  • Establish, or recommend to management, economic strategies, objectives, and policies for the team.
  • Contribute to overall strategic and business planning through the insight gained.
  • Establish Policies & Procedures and collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge through coaching, training of the domains that are engaging directly with clients
  • Coordinate the annual and quarterly planning and budgeting process.
  • Develop and drive the development of tools to forecast future performance and model potential changes to the Team or BU operating model.
  • Person SpecificationTechnical Skills
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge/Qualifications
  • CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
  • Prince2 would be desirable
  • Knowledge of IFRS would be advantageous
  • Experience
  • Demonstrable internal and external stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant work experience in accounting, financial analysis & reporting, ideally from Financial Services.
  • Ability to influence people and drive process, particularly at a Senior Management level
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating department activities.
